Looking for some advise, I'm training for a 62 mile road bike for Best Buddies fund raiser 9/12.
As my road cycling time and distance increases, my muscle soreness has too - thus my muscle recovery is slower. What can I do to help reduce the discomfort and increases my muscle recovery time so I can increase my training? One other item, I'm 62 yrs old, had knee replacement one year ago, so hard impact training is a challenge.
