workout for 60+

I'am 61yrs. old I'am working partime 3-4 days a week outdoors. I try to eat a light breakfast, usually a breakfast type bar. And  Energy& Focus. Also Lean Life in the AM and again in the afternoon. It is so hot out right now it is hard for me to go out and walk or ride my bike. Went for a general checkup, my Dr. gave me a injection of vit. B-12. To help get my energy level up. Any suggestions?  THX  Don

  • Hey Don,

If your goal is to increase your energy levels the Energy and Focus and the lean life will be a good source of natural caffeine and B vitamins in the morning. I would add Hydrate and Recover with your Energy and Focus to create the "Superman" and make sure that you are drinking enough water throughout the day.

"NHS guidelines state that women should drink 1.6 liters of fluid a day - the equivalent of eight glasses - while men should drink two liters, which is ten glasses".

Making sure that you are properly hydrated and fueled is the key to consistent energy levels for your workouts.

A balanced breakfast of complex carbs, fats, fiber and vitamins, and minerals will also help. You may not be getting enough fuel to help you fire on all cylinders. I would take a look at our Meal Replacement Shakes here:
