Day 2 of the challenge. I worked 12 hours yesterday and I'm working another 12 today. Instead of working out last night I ended up deep cleaning my house and running up and down 2 flights of stairs for laundry. I honestly am not a fan of the chocolate protein. I think it tastes chalky. The next 28 days will be a challenge considering I have 2 herniated discs currently but I'm still going to do it. I love the super man drink in the morning...I feel better and more alert than I do with coffee. I'm following the meal plan to a tee and I haven't been hungry. It's deer season here in Ohio and we harvested 2 deer last week. Tomorrow and Tuesday is deer jerky making time on my off days. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into the deer stand this week also and add more meat to the deep freezer. I'm also meeting with the trainer twice this week and have a hike planned for tomorrow. Time to enjoy the season a little more and make my health a priority again.
Hi Holly, yesterday I cleaned my house instead of working out too, I think I burn way more calories cleaning than a good workout lol!
I'm sorry to hear you don't like the shakes. I find that if I blend them with frozen berries, especially with the vanilla flavor, it makes it more like a smoothie. Plus you can then make it any flavor you want! Strawberry, blueberry, tropical, the list is endless! The chocolate is also good blended with some natural nut butter, coconut, cherries, etc.
