Back in April, I finished out the 28-day challenge with results I was impressed with. I had lost 5.5 pounds and almost 5 inches, which stayed off even when I strayed during a couple of tough weeks finishing out the spring semester. Finals are now all finished, and I am ready to give the challenge a second round, hiking and bathing suit season are here.
Last time around I used the Beach Body T25 exercise program in addition to my Wilderness Athlete supplements. I had completed that program in the past and never saw the results I did while taking the supplements with it. For this second round of the challenge, I am going to give the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution a try. I have become so much stronger that I had to invest heavier dumbbells going into this round of the challenge.
I know just how great this program is and am very excited to be giving a second a run and seeing more results.
Figured it was time for me to give a 2-week update on my current status. In the first week, I saw a small weight gain. This didn't concern me because I have both increased the weight I am using when working out and I am doing more strength training this time around. In the second week, I have lost the weight and am back to my starting weight. I am seeing some incredible noticeable results in the muscles of my backside and thighs. This summer I will be rocking the shorts better in my 40s than I did in my 20s!
Last weekend my boyfriend captured an awesome picture of me from the back while I was glassing a hillside for sheds. He has been blown away with my results and wanted to show me what he sees. I will share the picture when he downloads it off his camera. What impresses me about the picture is that I am wearing a size 2 outdoor pant :)
The Superman concoction has been a blessing while we have been out hiking every weekend, my knees and feet end up giving out way before I am gassed now. I have not experienced and muscle pain and my even my knees are recovered by the next day.Reply
